“OUR LUXURY “NEW HOMES” WITH LARGE OFF-PLAN DISCOUNTS ARE IN HIGH DEMAND.”
areas at the moment. La Cala is a real little gem of a beach town which is fast becoming one of the Costa del Sol’s property hot spots. We have 7 new luxury developments being built with the latest specifications and quality fixtures, all easy walking distance to the centre of the main La Cala Boulevard, shops, bars, restaurants and beach. We have them at various stages of construction with completions from 1-2 years. Te great news for the buyers looking right now, is we are selling the first
batches of properties at heavily discounted off-plan prices. For example, we sold an off-plan luxury 3 bed apartment at around 75,000 euros less than if it had already been finished. Tere are different payment schedules depending on the development, and it’s now Law that all off- plan developments have bank guarantees in place to protect every payment you make. We can help arrange up to 70% mortgages on completion, subject to status. I’ve had a few clients worry they can’t wait for off-plan, but it’s not as if you can’t enjoy the coast for two years, in fact most of our clients are planing on a number of visits before they get their keys and actually look forward to seeing their future investment and holiday home take shape whilst they enjoy a fabulous holiday in their favourite destination. Once completed, these brand new luxury properties will also be ideal for any “Buy to Let” Investors, as not only will they comply with all the latest renting regulations but will be preferred by tenants because of their amazing location and facilities. Brexit update: When the Brexit result was
announced, a lot of people were in shock. “What have we done?” and “How will it affect me?” Obviously, Brexit doesn’t really effect holiday home owners / buyers in Spain at all, as property ownership in Spain is nothing to do with the EU agreement. However, it did raise concerns for some
UK expats currently living in Spain as well as many potential buyers wanting to move to Spain in the near future. Te UK government & the EU had already agreed that both UK & EU citizens living in each others regions would retain many of their current rights. Even in the event of a No Deal Brexit, Spain has made it very clear they will be looking to work closely with the UK for a mutual easy access and benefits for each others expats. Te current proposed deadline for Brexit is 31st Oct 2019, but as we know this has already been moved back twice in the past, so nothing is guaranteed. Although the real-estate business
tends to slow down in August, we are still busy showing lots of properties to holidaymakers, who oſten dedicate a couple of days getting to know certain areas and familiarising themselves with what properties are on offer and at what price. Once they realise their overseas dream can be a reality, what then normally happens, is they book a second trip in September to focus solely on their holiday home purchase. So, if you are thinking of selling a property on the Costa del Sol, we recommend you get your property on the market now, ready for September / October, which is known to be one of our busiest selling periods of the year. Call us now for a free valuation / market appraisal as we offer the best marketing packages on the coast and promote your property throughout all of Europe, not just Spain.
