Texas Christian University’s equestrian program has


moved to an upgraded facility at Diamond Creek Ranch, after 7 years at Turning Point Ranch. Located less than 20 miles south of the campus, Diamond Creek Ranch currently fea- tures covered riding and outdoor arenas, as well as 44 covered stalls for the program's horses. Watch the Horned Frogs in their first competition on September 26, against South Dakota State.

Braggin’ Rights! Brad Buckley, Salado, was recently chosen by the Texas


House of Representatives Republican Caucus as its Fresh- man Representative of the Year. Buckley is also a hand on a cutting horse as well as a trusted and skilled veterinarian.


Maddie Bradley, Cashion, OK, made a strong showing


at the Western District 4-H Horse Show in Duncan May 30– June 1. She won sr showmanship, halter geldings 6&O, and grand champion halter gelding.


Laura Fenimore and Trevor Daremarried on May 31,


in an outdoor evening ceremony at The Springs event venue in Blanchard, OK. They live in Lexington, OK. Trevor splits his time between Silver Spurs Equine, Oklahoma Division, and Trevor Reining Horses. Laura is employed by Med-Vet Pharmaceuticals.


Delaney McClanahan, Belton, recently received a 2019


NSBA Foundation Scholarship. She will put it to good use, since her career goal of being a neurosurgeon requires 16 years of higher education! She will begin college at Texas Christian University, where she will major in pre-med.


Jenna Marek, a member of Pinto Association of NM,


was quite successful at the Pinto World Show June 8-20 in Tulsa. She was unanimous world champion in bareback eq- uitation, reserve world in English trail and sr youth equitation, and earned numerous other placings, all adding up to 4th place overall youth 14-18!
