ELECT is holding a free training session on the future of electric heating, in association with Glen Dimplex Heating and Ventilation.
The seminar will
include information about legislation and the direction of electric heating and smart grid management, as well as covering some of the many product options available.
It will be held on Thursday 29
August at SELECT’s Training Centre at The Walled Garden in Midlothian. Starting at 9.30am, the seminar sessions will cover: ●●Lot 20 legislation and how it will affect domestic and commercial installations ●●The implications and opportunities of Scottish carbon reduction targets ●●The range of electric heating product options available
●●Smart Electric Thermal Storage solutions (SETS) ●●PV battery storage with an insight into increased demand for products by iPower ●●How improved energy efficiency in buildings will require increased ventilation to manage air quality and fabric protection ●●Glen Dimplex support and services to help in your design and technical support for all your projects, whether large and small. The seminar runs until 1pm and includes lunch for attendees as well as a morning tea break.
