Still time to sign up for site safety course

laces are still available on SELECT’s new Electrotechnical Site Safety Assessment (TESSA) course. It has been accredited
to SCQF Level 6 by the Scottish Qualification
Authority – equivalent to level three on the QCF scale – and is suitable for those who access construction sites both sporadically and regularly.
The course, presented by SELECT
Technical and Health and Safety staff, is made up of two parts – the one-day TESSA course and study at home. Candidates are sent a pack of notes two week before the

Flexel is holding a free seminar in association with SELECT on electric underfloor heating and infrared heating. Te session will cover
course begins which they are advised to study for at least six hours. At the end of the day-long course, they will take an assessment based on the information in the notes. There will also be workbook exercises to complete as well as questions throughout the day. Nicola Jengaenga, Employment Affairs
