Are you investing in your physical wellbeing?
You MOT your car annually but do you undertake an annual health MOT?
Isn’t it time to be proactive about your health? N
estled in the heart of the Hertfordshire these inspiring companies are working collaboratively to take health and wellness breaks to another level.
Founded in 1925 Champneys have always believed that beauty and wellbeing are intrinsically intertwined.
Not all those that wander are lost, discover Champneys Tring – the resort that started it all. As Britain’s original health spa, it is a location that has provided the backdrop to a vast array of innovations and wellbeing breakthroughs – where it has led, others have followed.
Born from the initial vision of eccentric naturopath Stanley Lief, Champneys Tring while remaining faithful to its beginnings, has also moved with the times. As well as a variety of innovative yet traditional spa treatments, recent additions include the relaxation hideaway, manicure and pedicure salon and the Marine and Wellness Spa, which is the first of its kind in the UK. The once Rothschild family-owned estate – complete with Downton- esque driveway – is set in 170 acres of idyllic countryside and is accessible in less than 45 minutes on the train from London Euston. Kick back and relax.
Emma James physiotherapy is a bespoke occupational health & consulting service. They have been working in collaboration with Champneys since 2003, offering health and wellbeing breaks with intensive physiotherapy and corrective exercise at their core. They have a whole host of trained specialists available to help, from bespoke Personal Training, Gait Scan, sports injuries treated to the leading APOS Therapy. Their Champneys Clinic specialises in Women’s Health, Running and Sports Injuries, Vitamin Infusions, Treatment for Stress and Recovery from Serious Illness.
Trends come and go, but the dedication and commitment to encouraging wellness endures.
