FUW COUNTYNEWS Upcoming EOIWindow Details Summary

The GlastirWoodland Creation Scheme aims to increase the area of new woodlands inWales by offering financial assistance for new tree planting.

The GlastirWoodland Restoration Scheme enables woodlands infected by Phytophthora ramorum and stands of larch, to be replanted to help slow down the spread of the disease. When a woodland is clear‐felled, the scheme provides an opportunity to diversify tree species to increase resilience to climate change and damage from pests and diseases.

Glastir Small Grants is a programme of capital works available to farming businesses acrossWales to carry out projects that will help to improve and maintain the traditional landscape features inWales, and provide habitat linkage for pollinating insects. The Landscapes and Pollinator window selects activities that have been chosen for their ability to contribute to enhancing landscape features and providing habitats for pollinator insect species.

The SustainableManagement Scheme aims to support landscape‐scale projects to deliver action that improvesWales' natural resources in a way that delivers benefit to farms and rural businesses.
