Malling School ends season in triumph
YEAR seven rugby stars at The Malling School (TMS) won the area championship and saw off two of the best teams in the league as the season ended. TMS beat Aylesford School and
Oakwood Grammar – scheduled to play in the league finals –when they met at the Aylesford Bulls RFC ground. The team won 20-10 and 10-5 respectively. PE teacher Jack Leech marked

saw us overcome a strong Ayles- ford school team 20-10. We had previously lost to them, so thiswas a great indicator of how much progress the teamhasmade.” He said the victory over Ayles-
fordwas all themore satisfying as TMS had previously lost the en- counter in the regular season.

watch.Mason Pettitt picked up the man of the match award for a number of try-saving tackles.” He said the year nine squad had
put on an “outstanding perform- ance” to beat St Simon Stock. MrLeechadded: “The boyshave
been exceptional in their commit- ment to improve and thiswas evi- dent with a 33-21 win over a team theylost 20-5 to earlier this season.” Ewan Bruce, Sonny Harding,
