And now for something completely different...


Medieval combat training, Yep that is right, you can give this a go, it is claimed “blends together historic sword fighting techniques, teamwork, strength and fitness”. You fight with padded training equipment in 1 v 1 duels or team combat. Learn from the combat manuals of the middle ages and unleash your inner warrior. The group is open to men and women, all ages and abilities.


This group is part of a global historical full contactfighting sport. You use historically accurate reproductionmedievalarmour and blunted weapons to engage in competitive fights according to authentic historical tournament rules. The sport attracts male and female fighters from 26 countries at competitions around the world.


The training takes place at St Peter Parmentagate Church, King Street, on Wednedays 6:30- 8:30 pm, or Sundays 11 am- 3pm. Sessions cost £5 .

OCTOBER 18 Wild Paths Venues across Norwich


Wild Paths is a brand new city-wide music festival launching this year in Norwich, taking over a number of the city’s best-loved music venues for three days in October, showcasing an eclectic mix of emergent and established artists.


The fest kicks off of the evening of Friday 18th October until Sunday night, with a pre-festival warm-up party at Norwich Arts Centre on the evening of Thursday 17th!
