LANSDOWNE Ontario - Lansdowne Horse Festival: An Equine Extravaganza is return- ing on Saturday September 7, 2019


The first horse festival


was held in in 2017 to celebrate Canada 150. It was a huge suc- cess; visitors came from all over Ontario and the United States. There were smiles and laughter everywhere. One visi- tor said “We enjoyed the day thoroughly. In fact, we felt that there was a magical feel to the day.”


The Lansdowne Associa-


tion for Revitalization has once again teamed up with a group of experienced equestrians to plan another fun filled day. We want to get a-hands on equestrian learning experience for both adults and children. We


will have a wide variety of horse breeds including the Canadian, Morgan, Arabian, Draft breeds, Paso Fino, English Jumper, Minis and more exhibiting their unique characteristics. We will also have demonstrations of Natural Horsemanship, how to shoe a horse and a game of horse ball. Have you ever seen a horse ambulance? We have it all. We are also hosting a vendor village to help promote area merchants and arti- sans.


This one-day festival will take place


on the Lansdowne Fairgrounds 1186 Prince Street, Lansdowne, Ontario on Saturday September 7, 2019 from 9-5. What better way to celebrate the com-
