Purse Increase
Announcement Quarter Horse racing will ben-
efit from the first purse increase in over 10 years in 2019 through a purse enhancement that has been provided by Ontario Racing. This purse increase will see all overnight purses increase by $1,000 for the en- tire 2019 race season. Funding was provided as part of the Long Term funding agreement that the industry has with the Ontario government.
