Introduction to Career Development Programme Wednesday, 1st May, 11.00 – 12.30.
Free for members and non-members Whether you are looking to explore a new career while in the UK or to pursue an established one, this Introduction will help you kick start your search. Denise Donoghue, FOCUS career consultant, will provide detailed information about our Career Workshops, one-to-one coaching and career-related seminars. This is the perfect opportunity to meet Denise, network with other FOCUS members and start sharing your own career narrative. Free for FOCUS members only This is a comprehensive four-week programme (2hr/week) where participants are split into two groups ‘Explorers’ and ‘Fast-Trackers’ depending on their career goals. Learn some tips from Benedicte Gariel, Career coach and job search advisor on the dos and don’ts when you create yours. Benedicte will also explain how to make your profile efficient and to use it as a powerful networking and marketing tool.
How to prepare for jobs of the future.

In this seminar Denise Donoghue, career coach and FOCUS Career Development Consultant, will look at the latest insights into the future of work and the future skills you will need to remain employable and marketable, and what strategies to put in place to future proof your career.
Working in the charity sector Monday, 20th May, 10.30 – 12.30.
Free for members, £25 for non-members Join Alessia De Albertis, Career Coach and Professional Women Mentor, and Zahraa Fedhel, Octavia Foundation Volunteer Co-ordinator, for an informative presentation on working for the charity sector, both as a volunteer and in paid employment.
