Bars go wild for vibrant velvet
Contract Furniture Group are seeing an increasing number of bars opting for vibrant, velvet
materials in their interior design. The rising popularity of velvet furniture ties in with a trend
for venues to look to create a luxurious and sophisticated
design for guests to enjoy their drinks.
The rise in velvet as a design choice follows a range of bars looking to put further emphasis on the design of their venue in 2019, with an increased demand for furniture that creates a high- end aesthetic. Velvet fabrics are now being utilised to create this interior with the minimalistic, modern design complimenting the material’s plush texture.
Additionally, bars are choosing furniture that combine these sophisticated materials with vibrant colours. Shades such as mustard yellow, bottle green and navy blue are now opening new doors in terms of form and function options, with the luxurious fabrics and eye-catching colours resulting in a memorable experience for all visitors.
To equip bars with the high-end furniture they require, Contract Furniture Group has launched a range of stylish new pieces designed to suit a variety of different venues. The new models come with velvet finishes whilst offering a curved back design that creates a classy visual impact. The new range is part of the firm’s plans to add over 250 new products to its collection in 2019.
Richard Bellamy, managing director of Contract Furniture Group said: “The velvet finishes in our chairs have recently become a hugely popular option for the growing number of bars we work with. With owners and managers wanting to create a classy and sophisticated environment for visitors to enjoy a drink, velvet is the perfect choice, as the soft texture and luxurious look is the perfect combination. However, we understand that each venue wants to put their own unique twist on their interior, so our new diverse product range, featuring items such as the Macaroon and SemiFreddo chairs, and wide selection of vibrant fabrics put them in control to produce their own individual design.”
Contract Furniture Group is the UK’s largest manufacturer and supplier of furniture for commercial venues.
