It seems that we can’t escape the B word at the minute. How will Brexit effect you or will it just be business as usual?
Keeping in contact with customers allows an establishment to build a long-lasting relationship and encourage follow-up sales. Are there ways to capture a customer’s data in order to communicate special offers and rewards etc?
I’ve always been a big believer in “it’s easier to keep an existing customer than to find a new one”. Our Samtouch solution has a loyalty system built in. Whether you are looking to offer loyalty points against purchases, tiered discounted prices or a cash less solution, Samtouch & Samtouch Office provides this platform for you. We don’t currently provide a emarketing solution in our software, however there are some excellent low cost solutions on the market that are designed specifically for this task with some fantastic analytics behind them.
You guys are well known for your outstanding customer service. It’s so important to work with a technology provider that can provide support every step of the way. What kind of training and after sales support is in place once the system has been installed?

Its very difficult to predict how Brexit will effect the industry, it really does come down to the person on the street. The feeling is that there was apprehension, but the majority of people are of a mind set to just get on with life. I suspect there will be repercussions once we finally leave, but who knows where it will lead.
You have some game changing devices within the product portfolio. Where does the technology go from here?
We seem to be going through a phase of Mpos at the moment, they certainly do have a place in the hospitality industry but more of an add-on than a mainstream solution. EFT solution providers do seem to be taking a lead in the market, providing a low cost POS solution as part of the payment system. There are certainly some low- cost solutions about if your prepared to suffer in functionality. For Take-Away’s kiosk self-service stations are also becoming affordable, which is a great add on for this sector.
