Tell us a little about yourself and how you arrived at Love Your Postcode? Before founding Love Your Postcode® property group in 2009, I graduated from Birmingham City University in 2001 and went on to work in corporate finance & recovery for five years. Here I had the privilege of working alongside some exceptional minds all over the country. However, something inside me wanted to be more than an accountant and I found this profession was killing my daring and entrepreneurial personality. I qualified in 2004 and retired from the register in 2007 and perhaps broke a record. It took me just three years to make my mind up that I wanted to do more with people, property and creative design.


We heard that you won ‘Sikh Business Man of the Year’ at the Houses of Parliament. Was the competition stiff? Yes. I personally don’t feel I deserve it.


For the uninitiated, what sets you apart from other estate agents? I think it’s obvious, even for the uninitiated. Over the last few years I worked on creating an instantly recognisable property brand. Today our advertising depicts; style, confidence and attitude. All the qualities one should desire in their real estate agent. I went all out to ensure that these images became visible on the most sought after billboards, property shows, TV channels, shopping centres, radio stations and of course lifestyle magazines. With an in-house creative team and design studio we accomplished our core objective; recognition. We did not set out to win clients, we set out to make people smile, question and perhaps feel good about themselves.


Today our group works with thousands of clients in every aspect of commercial and residential property. Our teams are busy selling, buying, developing, consulting, refurbishing and managing stock UK wide.
