Recycling Bin Combines Style with Convenience

The new stylish EnviroStep pedal bin from Leafield Environmental is rapidly becoming a favourite for recycling in preference to individual desk bins. Slim enough to stand back against the

wall in corridors and open offices, yet with a 90-litre capacity, the durable, rotationally moulded EnviroStep stands some 970mm high, ideal for ergonomic efficiency. The bin sports front castors and an integral handle, overcoming the problem of carrying full, vulnerable and potentially heavy sacks to collection points. With a single aperture and pedal operated lid, the EnviroStep Single is ideal for collecting heavy waste such as food or

paper but is equally suitable for collecting general waste or mixed recyclate. The EnviroStep bin comes with WRAP compliant colouring and labelling as standard, although personalisation options are available. EnviroStep bins are moulded from a

durable polyethylene blend, and for food collection can incorporate a non-leaching silver component that ensures effective anti-bacterial protection for the lifetime of the product, helping to keep surfaces clean and hygienic. As waste management and recycling creep

up the agenda, the EnviroStep from Leafield Environmental offers a stylish, convenient and hygienic collection option.

Colour Your Space

Boss Design has launched a striking colour palette of painted frame options for its extensive range of commercial furniture. Offering endless design permutations, a choice of eight colours may be applied to the underframes, tables, legs, and arms of most of Boss Design’s upholstered seating and table collections. Whether it’s to simply add colour to

a design scheme or to echo corporate branding, the eight RAL colours include orange, black, white, purple, grey, green, blue and yellow. Designed to complement chrome and natural wood frames, the new options follow meticulous market research that has recently been conducted by the company. With the inclusion of colour, designers

now have the added freedom to create bright and energetic schemes across all interiors. The colours can be selected to blend with other colours in the design scheme or mixed with contrasting bolder colours to create a high impact look. Furthermore, the addition of patterned upholstery can help bring an array of interiors to lie. Eve Fitzhenry, Marketing Manager at Boss

Design, comments: “After years of neutral shades and minimalist designs, bold patterns and colours are back with a vengeance and now play a central role in the design scheme. More really is more when it comes to colour, and painted frames help set the mood and tone of the surrounding environment. “Just as accent shades have the ability to change the whole narrative of a neutral

scheme, coloured furniture can help enhance mood and encourage positive emotions. This is particularly important in the workplace where the wellbeing of employees is paramount,” adds Eve. To achieve the perfect look, the new frame

options can be teamed with an assortment of coordinating fabrics recommended by Boss Design.
