Building concernAmember of the public expressed concern that an outbuilding had been erected at CedarHouse in Church Lane on arable land. Itwas thought that planning permissionwas needed for the building and for change of use of the land. HighwaysMemberswere disappointed with the quality of the refurbishment of the white lines and road surface on Taylors Lane/The Street/Addington Lane. They felt thework had reduced the effectiveness of the humps. hear that a pilot service had been announced for the village, starting in June 2019. Thiswould provide a link to Tesco at Lunsford Park andwould be funded by developer contributions. Recreation ground The clerkwas tomeet with Four Seasons to see if they could help with any of theworks outlined by RoSPA. Cllr Shawwas speaking to theOutdoor Gymcompany about installing adult gym equipment on the recreation ground. Community farmMemberswere pleased that the farmcontinued to thrive. Pupils at the school continued to sell eggs to support the farmand there had been several class visits to the farm. Volunteerswere needed to share feeding duties.Wool fromthe fleece of the two alpacaswas being spun to knit items to sell for funds. The commi�ee was planning to hold regular open days as therewere still people in the villagewho were unaware of the venture.

Speed indicator Cllr Balfour had offered to pay for a speed indicator device for the village.Hewas sorry to hear that the permanent speed sign at Canon Lane could not be repaired. The Speedwatch teamsaid theywere happy tomanage the newdevice but therewere questions to be answered. CCTVQuotes had been received from Chroma Vision for repairs to the CCTV at the village hall and the pavilion. Itwas felt the CCTV at the village hallwas nothing to dowith the parish council. Resident Sarah Hudson said the equipment belonged to the parish council. The chairman gaveMs Hudson the quote and asked her to pass it on to the village hall commi�ee for their comments. The cost of repairs to the pavilion CCTVwould be £2,754 plus vat and the cost of an annual gold service agreementwas £170. Itwas agreed to accept the quote and the service agreement. Sports association Cllr Stones and John Ibbs had sealed up the gap in the fencing between the overflowcar park and DrayhorseMeadow,where dogs had got through.
