2019 WASHINGTON, D.C. FLY-IN

Mark your calendars! The 2019 Iowa-Nebraska Equipment Dealers Association’s (INEDA) Washington, D.C. Fly-In – held in conjunction with the Equipment Dealers Association (EDA) – will take place March 5 & 6. This Fly-In plays a critical role in the success of our 2019 legislative agenda, as it gives us the opportunity to discuss the farm bill, international trade, the Renewable Fuels Standard, regulatory reform and transpor- tation investment with policymakers on Capitol Hill.

The Fly-In will include briefings from the USDA Agricultural Statistics Service on the 2019 Census of Agriculture; discussions with key members of Congress and policymakers; visits to the offices of Iowa and Nebraska Senators and House of Representatives; a legislative update from EDA and INEDA staff, and dining at some of the best restaurants in D.C. In addition, we will dine as a group each evening.

Travel Reimbursement

The INEDA Board voted to provide $1000 in travel funding for each dealer location attending the Fly-In and an additional $500 for a second person traveling from the same dealer location. This funding is also open to spouses and adult children as long as they are employees of the dealership and plan to participate in all functions of the Fly-In.

Flight & Hotel Information You are responsible for booking your own flight and hotel. We recommend staying at the Courtyard by Mar- riott Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard. The cost is $259 plus taxes per night. Please call 202.479.0027 to reserve your room by noon on Friday, February 1. (Please mention Equipment Dealers Association when booking your room to be a part of our room block.)

Note: Please let us know if your spouse/guest plans to attend the briefing sessions so adequate materials can be prepared. Spouses and guests will be included in all meal functions.

Have questions? Need more information? Plan to attend? Contact Will Rogers at 800.622.0016 or willr@ineda.com.
