DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE Commitment through Challenging Times
Since October our brothers and sisters in the Panhandle have experienced some of the most challenging times while also experiencing great loss due to Hurricane Michael. I am not only amazed but inspired by their tenacious and unrelenting commitment to their communities.
Over and over, I heard the same message, we will not leave our community, nor will we quit working until our citizens are taken care of. I could hear the struggle and exhaustion in their voices, but they were steadfast in their duty to serve.

I am also very proud of our Association and its members. The number of members that offered their assistance was astounding. Our calls for help were immediately answered.

We will continue to stand with our members during difficult times and as an Association supporting law enforcement leaders, we will continue to offer training and other resources to help prepare them for the unimaginable event.
As winter is upon us and the year end is fast approaching, I am thankful to know that when one of us is in need, we do not hesitate to rally in support. Times of struggle truly do put things in perspective and if we allow ourselves, we learn from those struggles and become stronger moving forward.
I hope to see you at our upcoming 2019 Mid-Winter Conference in Orlando.
As always it is my honor to serve you.
