Ten forwarding apprentices have joined forces with BIFA to help promote the industry to the next generation. The group, who are all employed by BIFA
members, were invited to star in a series of promotional videos that aim to showcase forwarding and logistics as an exciting career option. Four short films have been produced,
including two talking heads compilations, an interview with BIFA’s training development

manager, Carl Hobbis, plus a spur-of-the- moment bit of fun one! Carl explained: “With the long-awaited Freight
Forwarding Specialist Apprenticeship Scheme becoming available this summer, it is the perfect time to get out there and do our bit to promote the industry to young people. “However, we realise that not all of our
members are equipped with the tools to do this, so over the past few months we have been creating a range of downloadable assets that they can take with them to careers or community events.
