Expands Chinese Operations is proud to announce the
launch of Remet Investment Casting Materials (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. This new company is a wholly owned subsidiary of REMET® as REMET®
UK Limited, and referred to CN.
The launch of REMET CN was
marked with a Technical Conference and Banquet. This was attended by a wide range of guests from across the regional investment casting industry. The Conference covered key aspects of waxes, slurries, refractories and process control, offering the delegates comprehensive training. It also introduced REMET CN’s innovative new process improving product range; including FF>>Form® ADBOND®
, QuikSet™ , REMASOL®
QuikBuild™ Binder, QuikBuild™ A and QuikBuild™ F Refractories. At the end of the conference delegates attended a gala banquet celebrating the inauguration of the new company. The establishment of REMET CN
reinforces their increasing commitment to support the investment casting industry in China. The new business offers dedicated sales and technical resources to customers across south east Asia. With a new warehouse in Changzhuo, REMET offers secure

Armil CFS Delivers Two Tru-Heat Furnaces
Armil CFS, Inc (South Holland, IL)
has recently delivered two Tru-Heat gas fired box furnaces with afterburners to a Southern California manufacturer of investment castings. The furnaces are designed to operate at temperatures from 450°F to 2,200°F and will be used to preheat and dewax molds. Workspace of each furnace is 6’ wide by 5’ deep x 4’ high. Operators will interface with the furnace utilizing a PC based industrial HMI.

furnaces for the investment casting industry for more than 40 years.
