Remember, remember the 5th of
November...as if we can forget with the firecrackers and bangs that start before the 5th and end around New Year – slight exaggeration, but it does go on a bit doesn't it? I'm not complaining though, I love fireworks and great displays, wrapping up warm and dodging the kids with sparklers – important after setting fire to your own hair over a cooker in your twenties!
November is also the month that my three Christmas trees go up! Yes, you read that right, those that complain Christmas starts too early would not want to live with me. I get excited as soon as summer's over. It's therefore a delight to me that this issue is full of festive inspiration, from where to eat and gather with friends to what to buy your loved ones. My eye is on the gold Chanel clutch [hint, hint]. From shoes and perfume to jewellery, there're even practical gifts for around the home – I'm not one for practical, but I know plenty of people who are.

I also chatted to the infectious Anita Rani ahead of the announcement that she is to be host of the awesome Blue Planet II arena tour next year following the recent series that was watched by over 37 million people. The arena tour is set against a live orchestra and I for one will be booking tickets! We didn't just chat about the show though, we talked fashion, which she finds stressful, yet loves and we talked being a role model for Asian females and so much more. Her energy levels are way up there and she was a delight to interview.
There're also musings from our regular contributors at Heart fm, great food reviews, beauty advice, superb fashion picks and possibly your dream new home... Now imagine if Santa bought you that this year...
