Ed Sheeran – the nicest person in pop?
Here at Heart, we’ve been thinking about some of the nicest people in pop. We’ve discussed a few contenders such as, the hilarious Little Mix girls, cheeky chap Olly Murs, or the incredibly sweet Ariana Grande; but there was one guy that just kept coming up in this conversation – and here are the reasons why…
First and foremost, there is no doubt that Ed cares about his fans. You may have heard about his quest to make sure tickets to his shows are affordable for fans, and he has certainly stirred the industry on this pursuit. But that’s not all, Ed has been known to do what he can to help make dreams come true for terminally ill fans, something that truly touches the hearts of everyone around him.
Ed Sheeran is there for his friends too! He appeared at a Little Mix sound check in Manchester and serenaded the couple as friend, Jake Roche, proposed to Jesy Nelson of Little Mix – I mean, there was no way she could have said no to that!
Not forgetting his furry friends; the animal lover adopted a kitten that was about to be put down back in 2014, saving his life and continuing to keep fans updated of his progress on Twitter.
Ed undeniably does his bit for charity. In 2014, the star gave a whole heap of clothes from video shoots and concerts to various charity shops around Suffolk including two in his hometown of Framlingham. Ed still has a huge connection with where he’s from and has given back to the town in a number of ways over the years.
These are just a few examples, and on top of all of this Ed continues to be one of our favourite artists releasing hit after hit! Safe to say, we love you Ed!
