M20 closure
BPC are fully aware of the road clo- sures takingplacewhich are causing havoc through the village. Borough councillor Val Springett
and BPC are continually in dialog withKentHighways in trying to re- duce traffic during these times. It appears that social media post-
ings have been advising motorists they cancut throughBearstedwhich is not acceptable. Signs are made clear at each end
of the village with cones restricting lorries turning down Roundwell. Allwe can do is try to reduce traf-
fic flowthrough the villagewith the assistance of KentHighways.

Market on the Green update
WEARE pleased to report that themarketwill resume on the third Sunday of eachmonth, commencingMarch, with local produce. The council is committed to bringing this back and Emma Hull,
whoworks in our parish office, will be taking on the task to restart themarket. We would be pleased to invite any local businesses that wish to
apply for a stall to contact Emma on the admin address below or call the office. As we have motioned, we will not be able to offer a Christmas
