Matt Damon The Good Will Hunting actor is dad to four gorgeous daughters: Alexia, Gia, Stella and Isabella. In an interview with Parade magazine last year, he said: ‘The only way I can describe fatherhood – it sounds stupid, but at the end of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, you know how his heart grows, like, five times its size? Everything is full; it’s just full all the time.’

Chris Pratt Pratt may be a real ‘action man’ when it comes to the silver screen, but in real life, he’s a true hero to his son Jack, who was born prematurely. ‘I’ve done all kinds of cool things as an actor,’ Pratt said recently. ‘I’ve jumped out of helicopters and done some daring stunts and played baseball in a professional stadium. But none of it means anything compared to being somebody’s daddy. I made promises in that moment (when his son was born prematurely) about what kind of dad I wanted to be and I just prayed that he’d live long enough that I could keep them.’

Ashton Kutcher He may play the role of the millionaire playboy in his Malibu beach house in the popular Two and a Half Men comedy, but Kutcher is much happier in his role as hubby to actress Mila Kunis and dad to daughter Wyatt and son Dimitri. After the birth of Wyatt, who’s now three, Kutcher said of parenting: ‘It’s unbelievable. It’s the greatest thing on earth. As soon as this child was born, I immediately wanted to call my parents and just apologise because I never knew how much they loved me.’

Liam Payne Although he recently split from former partner, Cheryl Cole, the former One Direction star’s love for his son, Bear, is as strong as ever. Payne’s comment on Instagram just after Bear’s birth went viral when he talked about the best thing about his newborn son. ‘When I’m holding him,’ he said. ‘I remember it was four in the morning, and he just turned to me and opened his eyes and looked at me and I was like, ‘Oh my god, I love you so much’. It’s the best thing ever. Because I was tired, it was four in the morning, I couldn’t get him to feed properly. I was struggling, Cheryl was asleep, so I was like, ‘What do I do?’ The he turned around and looked at me and I was just like, ‘I don’t even care (that I’m tired) any more. I love you so much, we’ll get through it.’
