Art on the Deben and Suffolk Rivers

THE East Anglian Traditional Art Centre is pleased to an- nounce a forthcoming Exhibi- tion ‘Art on the Deben and Suf- folk Rivers’ which will include views of the picturesque Rivers Deben, Orwell and Blyth, and other watercourses. This Ex- hibition opens October 13th to 27th, Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 4pm. The Exhibition will feature

the works by many 19th Centu- ry artists, particularly Thomas Churchyard of Woodbridge 1798 – 1865, who will be rep-

resented by a large group of works, many for sale. Details: www.eatac.co.uk The Centre: Opened in June

2017, the East Anglian Tradi- tional Art Centre has quickly established itself as the premier location to see the Fine Art pro- duced by Painters working in Norfolk and Suffolk between 1750 and 1950. Restoration and research are undertaken, and the centre has an extensive archive library of reference material and also holds a large permanent Collection.

Kelsale Quiz Find us at Market Hill, 48 & Chips Night

A DATE to put in your diary is the Kelsale Village Hall autumn Quiz and Chips Night on Friday 12th October. The doors open at 7pm ready to start the questions at 7.30pm. This is a popular annual event and usually great fun as well as challenging, but you don’t have to be a Master- mind! This year we thought we

would warm everyone up with fish and chips from the Trawler’s Catch in Saxmundham, so the charge will be £13 per person. Advance booking will be essen- tial (or you’ll have to starve) so if you’d like to have a go please send an email with the number of people you wish to book for and how many fish and chips to order – we will then arrange pay- ment in advance. A contact tele- phone number is useful if we have any last minute questions. The tables will be set up for six people in a team and the Social Club will be open for sales of drinks throughout the evening or you can BYO bottle of wine – we’ll provide the glasses. Send an email to kelsalevil-

lagehall@gmail.com or text 07783 842890 in order to book a place.
