Repair; Refurb; Retrofit Restore your colour

It’s almost inevitable that surfaces exposed to a lot of UV rays and weathering will over time become faded and grey. A lot of people would assume this is something that cannot be reversed and so either live with it or replace it.

Little do they know that this is not the case. This is something that can indeed be fixed and for a fraction of the price and effort of replacing it.

Using Polytrol to revive and restore faded pigments

Polytrol is really one of the jewels in the Owatrol crown and we want to shout about it from the rooftops to make sure everyone knows about it. With more than 100 5 star reviews and thousands of happy customers using Polytrol for a wide range of projects, we’re pretty sure that almost everyone has something that Polytrol could be helping them with.

Polytrol penetrates deep into the affected surface and re-wets the pigments to restore their lustre and colour whilst also giving corrosion protection. It can be used on a wide variety of surfaces including, but not limited to; plastics, gelcoats, metal, stone, GRP (fibreglass), tiles and more.

So whether your car bumper and trim have faded, your composite front door is looking tired and letting you down, your plastic guttering and downpipes are looking bleached and sun- damaged, or perhaps your garage door has seen better days, Polytrol could be the solution for you.

Application of Polytrol

One of the best things about Polytrol is its ease of use. To apply, simply clean the area that you will be working with being sure to remove any waxes, polishes, silicone etc and allow it to dry completely. Then, simply apply the Polytrol with a brush or cloth, leave to work for 10 - 20 minutes then wipe off any excess with a clean lint- free cloth. Once it has dried, the surface will look revived and in a lot of cases, as good as new.

To maintain the colour of your surface, simply re-apply in the same way when it shows signs of fading. Re-application varies from surface to surface and the type of exposure it receives, however, you shouldn’t require another application for around 12 months - but in most cases it is more.

You can order Polytrol direct from Owatrol via our website www.owatroldirect.co.uk with next working day delivery on all orders placed before 3pm.
