Many unique and small meeting locations can be found throughout Luzerne County. The Mary Steigmaier Mansion, for example, is a beautiful example of Victorian architecture and was recently purchased and renovated as a unique meeting and wedding venue.

The Beaumont Inn is another example. Set along- side a stream in the countryside, it has both indoor and outdoor event space.

Another new meeting space can be found within the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts at Wyoming Seminary. The center contains: a 600- seat concert hall with a balcony and a 40-foot stage; a two-story art gallery; studios for choral, dance and instrumental rehearsals; two multi-pur- pose classrooms; two teaching studios; and four practice rooms.

While in the area attendees and their spouses can enjoy a variety of attractions, including the Mohegan Sun Pocono Casino and har- ness racing facility along with the Mohegan Sun Arena.

The art-deco F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts is a place where many popular artists and acts take the stage.

Several new factory tours are available throughout the county, including Mia Bella Candles, which are soy-based candles; the Cigar Factory in Hazleton; and SBC Brewing Co., which has a tast- ing room.

Visit Luzerne County recently launched a growing Beer, Wine and Shine Trail that winds throughout the county with over 10 spots at which to sip, relax and enjoy.

The 165-mile Delaware and Lehigh (D&L) Trail from Bristol, PA to Wilkes-Barre is mostly complete, and several local outfitters pro- vide bike rentals and tours along the trail. The D&L follows the pathway that once carried anthracite coal from mine to market and features many unique stops along the way, such as: the Canal Museum; as well as abundant photo opportunities for the nature lover. During the winter, outdoor enthusiasts can ski at Montage Mountain or at nearby Elk Mountain.
