Get Wet Pool at The Spa at Mount Airy

a unique meetings and events loca- tion,” said vice president of marketing and gaming operations for the resort, Vincent Jordan. “With the resort’s championship golf course and casino, groups have the ultimate experience complete with stunning Pocono Mountain views.”

With amenities to match top-notch meeting space, attendees will find that Mount Airy is filled with everything needed for their meetings. The casino houses more than 70 table games, from blackjack and craps to roulette and baccarat, along with more than 1,800 slot machines. For attendees who want to see the biggest talent in the busi- ness, Mount Airy is a haven for con- certs, theater and comedy, too.

Groups can experience the golf course, inspired by Sports Illustrated’

s “Best 18

Holes in America” and created by Hal Purdy, master golf architect. A full-ser- vice spa, celebrity chef restaurants, an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, casino and nightclub provide a well-rounded group experience.

Mount Airy boasts a wide rang of din- ing optons, too. Its offerings include: Guy Fieri’s Mt. Pocono Kitchen, which serves hometown favorites with daring flavors; Bistecca by IL MULINO pres- ents plates of hand-crafted pasta, seafood and vegetables; while Lucky 8 Noodle + Sushi Bar offers Asian cuisine in a modern atmosphere. There’s also The Buffet, Red Mango Yogurt Café, Nostalgia Candy Store, Get Wet Pool Bar, and Starbuck’s, too.

Whether for an hour or the entire after- noon, it’s always a good time to enjoy The Spa at Mount Airy. At Get Wet Ultra Pool, an indoor/outdoor swimming oasis, bar and nightclub, the pool is heated all year long and an underwa- ter passageway allows guests to swim from indoors to the outside.

the middle of the casino floor is ideal for cocktails, watching sports on TV and playing slots. Get Wet Ultra Pool turns into Wet Nightclub and hosts headline entertainment, international DJs and live performances.

For something a little different, the resort transforms Gypsies nightclub in an assortment of creative ways for host- ing cocktail parties, corporate events and even movie nights.

One corporate group transformed the club by bringing in lounge seating in a fun and relaxed atmosphere for its movie night. As a twist on movie con- cessions, there were themed snack sta- tions, including a do-it-yourself pop- corn bar, a soft pretzel station, and a candy bar.

Other options for groups looking for something a little different include inti- mate cocktail mixers and private din- ners at the Get Wet Pool.

“We always collaborate directly with the meeting planners to come up with fun and out-of-the-box event ideas,” said Jordan. “We incorporate all aspects of Mount Airy throughout to ensure each event is customized.”

Those meeting at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, a Mohegan Sun proper- ty, will find exactly what they are look- ing for in its technologically advanced and all-digital Resorts Conference Center. The total meeting and function space on-site is more than 64,000- square feet, and the center’s showpiece is its Atlantic Ballroom, which spans

6,500-square feet and includes a multi- use pre-function area and four sets of operable walls.

Planners will find meetings here to be a breeze with the center’s wireless con- nectivity for multiple devices for up to 1,000 attendees simultaneously, and 12 breakout rooms that feature LED dis- play monitors, drop-down screens and cinema-quality DLP projection.

Offering 942 guest rooms and suites, Resorts features the Rendezvous Tower (with the largest rooms on the board- walk) and the Ocean Tower (for close proximity to the beach).

Attendees may want to extend their business trip just to sample the abun- dance of restaurants that Resorts offers, such as: Eastwind Chinese Restaurant; Cielo, an intimate wine bar; Capriccio’s Italian menu; as well as Gallagher’s Steak House.

Breadsticks Café and Grill serves breakfast, lunch and dinner along with homemade desserts. LandShark Bar & Grill is the only year-round, full-service bar and restaurant on the “sand side” of the boardwalk. Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville and LandShark Bar and Grill both feature live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.

Gallagher’s Burger Bar features a new menu of appetizers, burgers and sand- wiches plus old favorites. Bubbakoo’s Burritos Mexican Restaurant offers fast- casual fare. Grabbing something to eat in a hurry can be as easy as walking to the Quick Bites Food Court, and the
