Last month was a whirlwind of events, the best of which was our own sell-out Ladies Day at the polo which we have hosted for the last eight years with our friends at Dallas Burston Polo Club. Following a fabulous day of polo and food, guests were on their feet for Roy Hemmings from The Drifters, the impromptu Love Train was a sight to behold!! We also raised a tidy amount for The UK Sepsis Trust and The Prince’s Trust, a huge thank you to all who attended coverage of the event is in our social pages.
My diary was bursting with work and personal events, from motoring and film industry invites to some rather special dining events – I’m now in need of a detox.
You know when you just click with someone? I had the great pleasure of chatting with frontman of Snow Patrol, Gary Lightbody for this issue. A huge talent, this very private of songwriters shared with me the emotions behind their first album in seven years – which by the way makes for great listening. He has a wicked Irish sense of humour; I honestly didn’t want our time chatting to end!

July means warmer weather (said with crossed fingers) and that also means it’s time to take the taste experience outdoors! We bring you some great restaurants with outdoor dining areas that allow you to make the most of the better weather – you can even hire a tepee at one and host your own party, which I’m seriously considering.
Whatever you do this month, be it home or away, have fun and enjoy reading this July issue... Much love Katie & Team xxx
