LIVE 24-SEVEN - BEAUTY SUMMER HAIR REGIME!

So, you’ve packed your bikinis and stocked up on sun cream – but have you given any consideration to your holiday hair regime? Increased temperatures and UV exposure can play havoc with the condition of your hair, so here are my recommendations for the style essentials you need to pack this summer…

A HAT/SILK SCARF - Offering 100% coverage from the sun’s damaging rays, a hat helps keep you cool and works for just about everyone. Think wide brimmed floppy straw hats for poolside chic or a loose snapback for beach hangs. A silk scarf wrapped turban-style around your head is a stylish, lightweight alternative.

SPF - UV rays cause hair colour to fade or alter, so protect the shade you’ve spent your hard-earned money on with an SPF spray or cream. I love Kerastase Soleil CC Crème, a multi-purpose balm that tames, shields and softens the hair.

HAIR MASK - Increased temperatures and humidity can leave hair dry, unmanageable or unpredictable. Show your hair you care with an intensive treatment designed to smooth, detangle and add lustre to your locks. My favourite is L’Oreal Professionnel Absolut Repair Lipidium Masque.

STYLER - Keep your holiday styling to a minimum and you’ll get- more time for having fun! Challenge yourself to choose one styling product for the duration of your trip – perhaps a salt spray to scrunch in for easy, beachy texture, an oil for sleek updos or a balm for defined, frizz-free curls. It helps avoid those excess baggage charges too!
