The Adult Recreation Therapy Centre (ARTC) offers day program service to adults with compromised health including those that have suffered a Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Frail Elderly, and those in the early stages of Alzheimer’s or other progressive cognitive disorders associated with aging.


ARTC facilitates therapeutic programs, exercises lead by a registered Kinesiologist, Aphasia conversation groups, and caregiver support programs including respite care.


There is a nominal fee per half day and full day services. Programs are run Monday to Saturday and include a Tuesday Evening program. Our satellite program, located at the Willett Paris is run Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to offer supportive services to those within Brant County.

The Brant Community Healthcare System is comprised of the Willett, Paris and the Brantford General Hospital. Our mission: Through creative and innovative use of resources and partnerships, we will focus on primary and secondary acute care, rehabilitation, complex continuing care, palliative care, health promotion and mental health services.
