Joseph Flanagan was born in Leek, Staffordshire, on 19 December 1890 and attested for the 8th Battalion (Manitoba Regiment), Canadian Infantry at Winnipeg on 28 December 1915. He served with the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 10 November 1917. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.

Private Robert Edgar Tetreault, R.C.A.S.C., died on 5 December 1945, aged 19, son of Flavien and Rose Tetreault, of Kitchener, and is buried in Kitchener (Mount Hope) Cemetery.
