Mr Brandon is popular among officers and staff for his leadership skills.


News Concert cash


A‘WISH Upon aHeart’ school con- cert inMaidstone has raised an im- pressive £1,857. The event by year nine students at


Maidstone Girls’ Grammar School brings the total raised for charity by the students to £13,571.05. A spokesman for the Buckland


Road school said: “We are excep- tionally proud of the level of com- mitment and effort our students are willing toput inonbehalf of others.”


Barn dance


THE RNLI will be holding a barn dance in Fant on June 29. John and Karen Sweeney will


provide the music at the Fant community hall in Fant Lane at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £10 and include a
