April 13-15 showin Abilene paid out $37,547, and times just seemed to get faster and faster. Becky Dil- lard and Wow She’s Hot won the main 1D barrel race Friday (14.916). Karsyn Daniels and Jet- tin Muffin’s 14.793 won that same division Saturday, and Kaily Richards and Lotta Bunny Shades won on Sunday (14.742)!
The Texas Championship, sanctioned by USTRC and

The Go Fast Purple Trio Tour, held April 14-15 at JLK
Event Center, Llano, paid out $6,941! Sissy Winn and Flashy Red Flame won Saturday’s Open 1D with 15.283, and Karen Little and Chigger won Sunday’s with 15.603.
NM Buckskin HAhosted its first point show of the year

The Spring Salsa Sensation, held April 14-15, offered
Paint, Pinto, Palomino, 4-H, and All-Breed competition and drew many new contestants. Saturday evening’s covered dish meal was great fun, especially the silent auction benefitting American Cancer Society. When the dust settled, Pinto HPs were Brittany Sontag (Op/Millenium Assets), Marilyn Novat (Am/Cash Is Good), and Ryleigh Lamb (Y/Invest in Honor). NMPEA HPs were Presley Wright (Sr/Sheza Golden Krym- sum) and Holly Chavez (Custom Smart Juice). 4-H HP win- ners included Jenna Marek (Sr), Lexi Derr (Jr), Denny Turner (Nov), Makenzie Clark (Speed-Sr), Savannah McSween (Jr- Speed), and Alyssa Bissetti (Nov-Speed). TPEA’s Spring Fling, held in Athens April 14-15,
boasted cool weather!
