CONNECT WITH

rittany Thadani rescued her first dog when she was three years old. That tradition continues. After numerous debilitating back and shoulder sur- geries, Brittany was forced to give up her job as a veterinary technician. “Rescue saved me,” says Thadani, “because I could no longer do what I loved to do, I felt useless. Then I found rescue.”

ABARC has a variety of volunteer opportunities available: • Grant writing: There is a need of volunteers with grant writing experience. Grants make it possible to rescue more high risk and medical cases with- out fear of monetary implications
