production ofDisney’sBeauty and theBeast.A56-strong cast and crew performed in our biggest production ever! Students auditioned for parts in
December 2017 and then rehearsed for threemonths after school time. During this time, students fromYear 7 to Year 13worked together and became part of our performing arts
family. Many students say that theAll Saints’Academy productions are one of their highlights of their time at theAcademy. Vice Principal TraceyCummings
said ‘Beauty and theBeastwas a first-rate productionwith fantastic performances by all involved, both on stage and in supporting technical roles. The entire company produced an evening ofmagicwith brilliant performances, matched by dazzling costumes and an amazing set.
Without doubt, itwas a resounding success.’ Enrichment for young people to
shine is important to us atAll Saints’Academy. We offer fantastic arts and sports opportunities,we also run exciting trips around theworld. Every few yearswe run a fully fundraised trip to Tanzania inAfrica. Studentsmust apply to be part of this truly unique expedition, which involves them partneringwithAfrican students to learn about each other’s cultures. Our teamalso take gifts for our
partner school inAfrica (whichwe helped to build in 2014). Students that go on the trip find the experience to be enriching and life changing, and they return to theUK with a newappreciation for the little things that are available to them readily at home..
