Ricoh Arena an ideal setting for the UK’s most diverse energy show
Set within a site covering more than 40 acres, the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, is ‘unlike any other venue of its kind in the UK’. This is the venue for CP&De Exhibition & Conference on April 18th & 19th, 2018. CP&De is a unique 2-day event which incorporates an informative key business conference focusing on aspects of Independent Power, Gen-sets, CHP/District heating, Renewable energy and battery, fuel cells and UPS systems. There is an outside area for the display of gensets and any ancillary equipment such as lighting towers. Home to Premiership Rugby team Wasps and Coventry City Football Club, this world-class destination in Coventry has provided a catalyst for urban regeneration and economic development since it opened in 2005. Coventry City Football Club competes in League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league system, following relegation from League One in the 2016–17 season. The 32,609-capacity Ricoh Arena opened in August 2005 and the club has played home games here ever since. As an Award-winning venue the Ricoh Arena features a mix of state-of-the-art Conference, training, banqueting, exhibition, hotel, music and sports facilities. It has become a firm favourite in the UK for music promoters as well as business and sports event organisers. There is over 20,000 sqm of space along with 2,000 onsite car parking bays, two high-class restaurants, a hotel and one of the UK’s largest casinos available for post-event entertainment. The railway line between Coventry and Nuneaton is immediately adjacent and Coventry Arena railway station. The Ricoh Arena partners with some of the UK's leading companies such as Ricoh,
Ericsson and E.ON as well as tenants, Grosvenor Casino. The stadium is situated on the northern side of Coventry, less than 1 mile south of junction 3 of the M6 Motorway, on the A444 road from Coventry to Nuneaton. Although officially designated as being situated in the Foleshill district, it is in fact located in the small suburb of Rowleys Green, between two larger suburbs, namely Holbrooks to the west, and Longford to the east. The stadium is located within a quarter of a mile of the boundary with Nuneaton and Bedworth and the county of Warwickshire.
