The End of the Affair Film, Presteigne Assembly Rooms Sunday 18th March, 8pm The film’s editor, Tony Lawson, will introduce the film. Using extracts from his production diary, he will talk about the editing process. Neil Jordan's version of 'The End of the Affair' is based on Graham Greene's complex, autobiographical, and arguably finest novel. On a rainy London night in 1946, novelist Maurice Bendrix (Ralph Fiennes) has a chance meeting with Henry Miles (Stephen Rea), husband of his ex-mistress Sarah (Julianne Moore), who abruptly ended their affair two years before.
