TheBallet Ensemble of Texas presents an explosive programwith newand time honored classicworkswhich you don’twant tomiss. The programopenswith a newwork choreographed by BET director AllanKinzie titled Jardin Sacré.Honoring the traditions of classical imperial ballet of Russia, BETmembers dance to the sublimemusic ofAntonArensky after a theme by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Following Jardin Sacré, BETwill present the Three Themes fromThe Temperaments, choreography byGeorge Balanchine. Diamonds is the nextwork on the programand is a dynamic ballet of athleticism and power by ThomClower. The programcloseswith Susan Trevino’s Gaité Parisiennewithmusic by JaquesOffenbach. Dance Planet 22will feature a diverse and stimulating representation of dance to appeal to all.
