Planet 22 onApril 7 and 8, and because of the success of last year’s collaboration, the 22-year old dance festivalwill once again become a two-day event allowing formore participants.

Dance Planet 22will feature a diverse and stimulating representation of dance to appeal to all. The eventwill be held at the beautiful facility and studios ofBooker T.WashingtonHSPVAandwill fea- ture all-day dance performances of dance styles fromaround the world, aswell asmaster classes fromthemany talented area dance instructorsDallas has to offer, but the highlight this year is the notable line-up of headliner special guest teachers!Headlining the master classeswill be SarahLane, recently promoted Principal Dancer atAmericanBallet Theatre inNewYorkCity;PhilWright, one of LA’smost sought-after choreographers andHipHop celebri- ty; andAngelaHarris,ExecutiveArtisticDirector ofDance Canvas inAtlantawho trained atDance Theatre ofHarlemand had a successful career in ballet, theatre and choreography.Dance Council ofNorth Texas is grateful to co-sponsorwith area organiza- tions to bring in this exciting list of guest teachers:Ms. Lane is co- sponsored by LakeCitiesBallet Theatre,Mr.Wright is co-sponsored byDallasHipHopDance Fest, andAngelaHarris is co-sponsored byDallas ISD.
