THE SENSE OF PLACE IN SEAMUS HEANEY’S POETRY: A CELEBRATION OF HIS WORK Seminar with Andy Jurgis


Popular literature tutor Andy Jurgis returns with a fascinating discussion of the great Irish poet Seamus Heaney.


With the aid of audio excerpts and visual illustration, Andy discusses Heaney’s sense of place and takes us on a journey around Ireland and the wider world, including the writer’s creative imagination.


Andy Jurgis is an Education Coordinator for the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) in the North West Region and also lectures for University of Liverpool’s Continuing Education.
