Club’s novices packing punch

New year Christmas treat


STUDENTS atHolmesdale School in Snodland hosted an early Christmas party for the elderly. Afternoon tea was served to


around 30 guests – some the grand- parents of students, parents of staff at the school, and others from care homes in the area. The school choir provided the en-


tertainment, with renditions of Christmas carols, followed by bingo and a quiz. Prizes for a raffle were donated by businesses including The Five Bells at Halling, and Sonya’s Sweets and Treats, with Barbara Hiskett and VioletWebster among the winners.
