The deadline for nominations is March 1, 2018. The 2018 Merit Awards will be presented by the Mayor and City Council at City Hall Council Chambers on April 16, 2018. Nomina- tions may be made by anyone. Since 1978, the City’s an- nual Merit Awards have ac- knowledged and celebrated the outstanding work being done to strengthen neighborhoods, serve people in need, expand our artistic and historical cul- ture and beautify the commu- nity. Our cruise ship is in the background on the left and El Capitolio (National Capitol Building) modeled after the US Capitol - our guide said it was 1 meter taller ~ Len Schwer of Windsor
