LIVE24SEVEN // Motoring, Sport & Entertainment R E INV ENT ING THE WHE E L The Pitfalls of

Sadly potholes are here to stay or at least for the foreseeable future but you already knew that didn't you...

Potholes

Established in 2005 we are a team of wheel repair professionals committed to delivering first class repairs and outstanding customer service. This focus has gained us an enviable reputation as the leading alloy wheel refurbishing service in the area. Of course we do all the pretty stuff from minor rim damage to stripping wheels back to bare aluminium but our process for repairing bent wheels has been developed in-house and we believe is unequalled by the few competitors that do exist.

There are now machines available on the market that claim to do the same and we bought one to evaluate, but it cracked most wheels we attempted so it now sits gathering dust in the corner of the workshop.

Our clients include the most prestigious car retailers in the county and beyond, but our mainstay is private customers, who know they are getting value for money, which is why you will find us recommended on many online car forums.

Councils are facing a serious shortfall of funds and a backlog of work estimated at between 12 to 15 years. The cause is years of under- investment in our highways coupled with some rather extreme weather patterns witnessed over recent years. Without doubt potholes have become one of the biggest scourges of modern day motoring and the worst of them positively dangerous.

At Reinventing The Wheel we have the answer to 95% of the bent or buckled wheels we are presented with and with prices between £50 and £100 depending on the severity of the damage, this is a fraction of the cost of replacement wheels.

We are not a bodyshop who turns to wheels when things are quiet or a powder coater more used to garden benches and JCB buckets than the complexities and intricate nature of wheels. Everything has been designed with wheels in mind; from the preparation and painting areas, the repair processes, tools and products used. All this allows us to achieve a superior result whether it's a simple scuff or a major restoration.

Due to the complex nature of wheel repair it is very difficult to give quotations over the phone but please feel free to drop in anytime Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30 for a firm price or to discuss your options and have a look at some of the different finishes available. Alternatively send us some pictures via our contact form on the website.
