Pulp Paper & Logistics COMMENT W

elcome to the November-December issue of Pulp, Paper & Logistics magazine. Our mission is to keep readers informed about key developments in the industry, so this

issue covers the latest mill projects around the world that are advances in sustainable bio-energy and social inclusion.

These projects show that investment in these areas are not a cost burden, but contribute to wider activities that improve the bottom line. They are examples to every kind of business activity. The pulp & paper industry should be proud of them.

As we end another year and look forward to 2018 I would

like to thank both our readers and those who support the magazine through news and advertising.

I can confirm that the feedback regarding the topics you

wanted to see covered next year have been incorporated into our schedule of issues. It is from the feedback we receive that we remain relevant and discuss the areas important to the industry.

To start 2018, in the January/February issue we will include: advancements in packaging material production, wood yard preparation, chipping & handling and green/bio energy installations for the modern mill.

Contributions for any of these subjects should be with us no later than 19 January, but if you have an article that you want us to consider then we need to know by 10 January.

All that remains is for me to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
