REAL WEDDING - KINGSCOTE BARN


THE WEDDING OF KATIE DALTON AND ALEX PROUT


Katie and Alex both live and work in Crystal Palace in London, however they knew immediately that they wanted all their friends and family to join them in the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswolds for the most important day of their lives. This is where Alex grew up and where they had spent many happy times together.


After a long search for their dream venue, the couple found Kingscote Barn and both absolutely fell in love with it! It ticked every box (and more) being large enough for all their guests and offering rooms for people to stay. “We were allocated a wedding coordinator (Juliette) at Kingscote Barn and she held our hands throughout everything and talked us through every step of the process – she even helped carry my train on the day!! We had both the ceremony and reception at Kingscote Barn and as it is so beautiful we didn’t have to do too much to it to set it up for our big day,” commented Katie.


The couple were joined by family and friends from as far away as New Zealand for their special day and the fantastic weather meant that everyone could enjoy the surroundings of this beautiful location whilst enjoying prosecco and canapés and playing giant jenga, croquet and boules in the games paddock. Ben Roberts, of Blooming Photography, captured stunning memories for the album.


The happy couple spent their first night at The Bear of Rodborough, followed by a relaxing break at Barnsley House in Cirencester to be followed by the official honeymoon in November 2017 to the Philippines, with two nights in Hong Kong on the way.
