ITQ ENTRY REQUIREMENT
There are no formal entry requirements and because there are three levels of attainment, you can join at a level that fits with your prior experience, skills and knowledge.
This IT qualification will sit alongside other A level subjects perfectly and give you transferable skills which will be useful in other areas of study and beyond. • Vocationally related and credit based. • Develops knowledge and understanding. • Demonstrates workplace competency. • Prepares for employment. • Contributes to professional development. • Progress to further or higher education.
This qualification is ideal for any student who has not studied IT at GCSE or A level but wishes to leave school with a recognised qualification in ICT. Your only time commitment will be one hour per week throughout the year. There is no
requirement to study outside of lessons. ASSESSMENT
The range of units are all assessed internally and externally moderated. There are three levels of attainment and within each level you can achieve: Award (9 credits) Certificate (13 credits) Diploma (37 credits)
