CHURCH ADDS FAITH FORMATION STAFF


Te church is excited to have recently filled two staff positions for FPCA’s youth ministries. Here are key facts about our latest additions.


Kieran Kehlor


• Is FPCA’s new middle school youth director


• Is the father of two teenagers • Has strong theological training


• Has been described as “very intelligent, very energetic, and enthusiastic”


• Also holds part-time positions teaching at the community


college level and counseling at a drug and behavior rehabilitation center for troubled teens


• Began participating in FPCA youth activities on Sunday,


October 1 Dana Yashou


• Is FPCA’s new director of high school ministry


• First name is pronounced “Donna”


• Served previously as a youth group director of a local church


for two years


• Has a passion for leading youth and building healthy, Christ-


centered relationships


• Is of Syrian descent, born and raised in Dubai, where she was an


active member of her church as a youth


• Has a bachelor’s degree in English literature with a minor in


journalism, and a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in human resource management


• Enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters


FPCA TUMBLERS ON SALE


Tumblers bearing the FPCA logo are back and better than ever. High-quality stainless steel and lid keep hot beverages hot for hours (no kidding—don’t burn your tongue). Tey retain ice in cold beverages even longer! And they’re dishwasher safe. Mugs are available for $15 each on occasional Sundays in the main hallway or at the church office during worship or business hours.

Te third annual FPCA golf tournament raised $15,000 for Allentown’s Warming Station, which provides overnight emergency shelter from November through April for area homeless people.


Sixty-eight players participated in the September 15 golf scramble and lunch at Allentown Municipal Golf Course.


Silver sponsors, who donated $1,000 each for the tournament, were Atas International Inc.; Campbell, Rappold & Yurasits CPAs; J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home Inc., Sonya and Todd Siegfried; State Farm Insurance, Tim Brion, agent; the Haverford Trust Company; and Equinox.


Bronze sponsors, who donated $500, were Anllo Center for Aesthetics; BB&T; Merrill Lynch, Te Douglass Group; Richard, Meli & Associates, the personal advisors of Ameriprise Financial; and Univest Bank and Trust Co.


Tere also were 21 hole sponsors. Te tournament committee was chaired by Barry Dubbs.
