Teignmouth Shopmobility
TEIGNMOUTH Shopmobility is a registered charity consisting of a voluntary community group providing independent mobility to anyone with temporary or permanent disability. This may be through illness, age-related or as a result of an injury or accident. Powered scooters and
wheelchairs and manual wheelchairs for use by anyone with a mobility impairment are available during opening hours, subject to payment of a £3 deposit. Full training is given to everyone who has not used the powered equipment before. Manual wheelchairs can be
hired for longer periods at £5 per day or £25 per week. Boot scooters can be hired for £8 per day or £50 per week. Booking for period hire is
getting around the town centre and the promenade so that shopping and visits to local attractions can be done in a safe and convenient way. Day clients may leave their
