We’ve previously reported this apartment building was under extensive renovations to make it ready for these families and to ensure their safety. So here’s the great news we have to share:
As we write this article, the first two families are moving in to this apartment building. Praise the Lord for His goodness and compassion on those who cry out to Him for help and salvation!
And with your support, we can finish preparing the remaining 14 apartments so that more families will have a place of shelter to break the bonds of oppression, heal the wounds of their past, and build healthy, happy lives. Now the families will stay together in a Christian environment as they address the mental, spiritual and physical issues that have arisen from the lives they have left behind. They will also remain in a supportive, safe environment until each mother is ready to live independently. For some that might be six months, for others a year or more; but none will exit until they have been given the best chance for a future filled with hope in the Lord.
This outreach offers you a chance to save women who are escaping a dark, brutal past while investing in children who were trapped in the same cycle of abuse and neglect. Like the original women’s shelter, this program will use Christian love, acceptance and understanding to restore worth, value and security. So please stand with us and be a part of something exciting — saving the lives of these precious families and showing them that God’s mercy reaches into every dark corner of humanity.
